Another advantage is that this system has the possibility of recuperation, thanks to which you can significantly save energy consumption. Thus, the Bose suspension requires less than thirty percent of the energy consumed by a conventional car air conditioner. Surprisingly, this approach allows the car to jump over low obstacles.
There are reasons why this technology has not become popular. The mass of this system is ~ 150 kg and the price is much higher than the pneumatic system.
